Olympic Sprint focuses specifically on sprint canoes (high-kneel) and kayaks from beginners to training and competing at an international level. The boats are extremely narrow, therefore fast and tippy competition-level boats.  Paddlers first learn to paddle in a more stable solo boats, and then move to paddling team boats (2-4 paddlers), then purchase their own racing boat. The advanced level requires a significant commitment to the sport and program.

  • Provide coaching and training to help athletes achieve results similar to or better than others of their experience level at USAC/K Nationals (in August).
  • Provide team boats (e.g. K2 and K4, C2) to prepare athletes for competition with RCBC or composite teams.
  • Raise funds to ease the out-of-pocket expenses for parents of competing athletes.
  • Foster a safe, supportive environment in which to grow as athletes and people.
